    • @iambeezee
      @iambeezee 4 месяца назад

      Hi hun! Make sure you GENTLY exfoliate before hand. I would say if you have time, exfoliate an hour before you put your make up on to give your skin time to settle and any redness die down. I like doing a dead sea salt soak. Then moisturise with a thick moisturiser. I personally like aquaphor. Do your make up last, so it's fresh out the door, that gives you more wear time. I try not to touch up through the day because that just makes everything look cakey. I always give myself a 3 - 4 hour window of make up looking ok, before the flakes take over again so just judge if you feel comfortable. If not, you can go home! I'm assuming it's not your wedding, but a wedding you are attending? Feeling anxious about how your face is looking isn't worth it so show up, have a good time then know when it's time to leave for your mental health. Hope this helps! Have a great time at the wedding!

    I understand the not wanting to get out of bed. I had to question myself as to why my skin is making me feel this way but it was truly hard. I would sometimes have to pull my eye lids apart to separate them when waking up to open my eyes. Feeling the hard dry skin. It was a process that I had to go through in the mornings I think I was dreading. Feeling like I was being attacked by my own skin. I now know that I wasn’t alone feeling the way that I was. Praying for you.

    Oh My god , when I see you with eczema I remember my son 😢 When my son cries after scratching his entire body, we don't sleep. I change the sheets every day. And he was so small that I no longer knew what to do with so much of his pain. I used the bath cream and skin cream that the doctor gave him. I used the same cream for two years, my grandmother told my granddaughter there in London there is no natural vitamin come here in Angola he will change, I told my grandmother, I have done everything for him and nothing is working for his skin. She said please betray the boy. And it was in my hometown with my son. My grandmother took my daughter to the beach every day, changed her diet, took off all clothes that irritated her skin, didn't use carpet, took off cow's milk, gave her a bath with permeganatu, a tablet, didn't use anything that had chemicals in it. Mine son, I use the cream that Gp gave him for 3 years, my son is going to be 19 and doesn't use anything else, he no longer has it. I have dry skin. He only uses organic sunflower and coconut oils.

    100 percent shot..similiar thing happened to me except it was ear drops from an infection. a year post original tsw. And like you ive been caring for my father who has advanced alzhiemers. I gave in. 7 months into this ear drop dexamethsone steriod. I went on cyclosporine to tamp down the systems. I just could not take thre fact my eyes were so swollen the lids were slit like it had been done with a razor. Only tsw patiants truly understand. Its hell ... on steriods. Dr..Rappaport is the best doctor out there to talk to about TSW. He founded ITSAN. He shoots straight arrows regarding recovery and its time frame.. cyclosporin is a strong drug but not a steriod. Your kidneys need to be checked monthly.

    I’m sorry that happened in Mexico dear.. I went to a yoga class in short sleeves (I normally always wear breathable long sleeves) and after class the lady next to me asked “what do you do for your eczema?”… I looked at her and said what do you mean? She repeated and then said her daughter has it so I asked what does she do. And we talked for 15 minutes and I told her mine is TSW when she mentioned her daughter uses hydrocortisone. I had plans after the class so I tried to remain in good spirits. When I got home I broke down and cried to my bf about it.. I went to the yoga class to relax and forget about all my troubles not be constantly reminded! I get that people want to help but when you’ve literally tried everything it’s like just mind your business!! Either see me for me or keep your mouth SHUT! So glad to see your post💚 I’m a long time warrior too. would you ever try CAP treatments at skin solace?

    • @iambeezee
      @iambeezee Год назад

      100% just let me live! I hope your interaction with her wasn't rude on her part (some people can be so insensitive in how they ask us about our condition which really puts you in defence mode, like how I was with the guy in Morocco) I'm seeing it as a mother needing guidance on how to treat her daughters eczema. Hopefully she now has more info about steroids and TSW. So sorry it upset you. Its out of frustration more than anything! You just want to be left alone and forget about how different you look to others, I understand. About CAP, I haven't done enough research into it to make an informed decision but the money aspect of it would really put me off. If it was a guaranteed treatment then that is great for those in withdrawal. But since it isn't guaranteed to clear your skin, then I think it would be a huge financial risk. I can't see the pricing on the site but I remember reading that a block of 10 sessions costs hundreds or close to £1000. I'm happy to just ride this out free of charge lol and the good thing is since making this video my skin has actually gotten a lot better - less stressed and vitamin D have probably helped me but again, this could change up again. If you have the funds to spare, why not try it? For me, it's a no. The serum I have tried. I'll admit it's expensive and did absolutely nothing for me. I've never been that person to buy things just because I've been told it works and I felt I bought it at my LOWEST point in my journey, probably around 4 months after my daughter was born. I used 15ml, saw no change, never rebought it and my skin/face is doing fine without it, 2 years later. Not to say it doesn't work for people, I'm not everyone and this is only my experience but because it's being marketed as a TSW product I think it can upsold as something we NEED to heal. I'm just very sceptical of things like this... just my opinon! Sorry for the essay lol

      Nope! I agree about oils, you think they'd be moisturising but they aren't, especially when you skin is EXTREMELY dry - they just sit on top. I don't even like using oil in my hair to be honest! I only use oil to remove my make up (it's just quicker!) But I don't apply it to my skin to moisturise it.

Wash my face with hot water, apply hyaluronic serum and then aquaphor.... that's it! I rarely wear makeup up too, only do my eye brows so it would be a short video 🤣 As for my skin I think It was a mixture! I don't think it was burn because I did use sunscreen but maybe a reaction to the heat and sunscreen gave me heat rash? The days after the holiday I was shedding so much - not peeling like sun burn though! Just tiny bits of dry skin flakes. In my next video I'll show the recovery ❤️

    not sure if you have eczema on your neck but I had severe out break over my whole body for just over a year and mometasone furoate really helped me.

    I thank you for posting updates. I am a 52 year-old male who spent years taking a steroid cream for my face and now moving on from this. Its been 2 weeks since i last took my steroid cream and boy is my face a burning dry mess. I was told by my Dermatologist that this was expected and could get worse before it gets better. Today i called her because it was so out of control and she prescribed me Protopic 0.1 ointment 2 times a day. Im a little scared because i was told this could burn severely but should subside after a few uses. I also had a little addiction to the steroid cream but im not going back no matter what. Thank you again for your videos because it helped me realize how others are going through the same thing I've been.

    How are you doing now? I’m 2 months postpartum and have been experiencing flares which is likely due to stress and these hormones 😢

    Hello, how are you doing now? I am about 3 months pp and I am having such a hard time. My whole body is in tsw, total nightmare and pain. How long was the worst for you? I want to believe that soon I will feel better.

      Thanks for commenting... I'm almost 2 years post partum now and the first 6 months were hell. Honestly I don't know how I got past it. I'm doing well now enough that I can go out, wear make up when I want and not really let skin dominate my thoughts. I'm still not healed which is disheartening but compared to how i was 3 months post partum its honestly a miracle. Its a slow and draining process but ull get there
